like oh my god! if anyone is thinking about checking out sylvia's secret, don't. i went there today for a full arm and underarm wax. the last time i was back, the experience was rather good. but this time around, it sucked.
1) the wax was not hot enough. and eventhough i told her that it was sticky because the wax wasn't hot enough, the stupid and probably unqualified waxer (or whateva u wanna call them) just stared at me and said uh uh pain ah? like what the hell!
2)becoz the wax was sticky and not hot enough, everytime she tried to pull the cloth it would not tear away smoothly. not only was it annoying but it bloody hurt!
3)also due to the darn unqualified waxer, i have bruises on my skin, esp the sensitive areas like the area opp the elbow. why? becoz it did not pull the hair smoothly and so she had to do the same area like a bazillion times. even i know that u can't wax sensitive areas more than twice or it will scar! dimwit!
4)she did not even turn on the damn white light! like what is wrong with you people?!?!it is basic knowledge man!and therefore, she missed out on like many areas which i obviously pointed out! i am not gonna walk around with patches of hair on my arm just becoz she is dumb.
5)you know how you are supposed to pull against the hair growth? yes. everyone knows that BUT this manjan chick. she randomly pulled in directions that pleased her. urgh i was so pissed off.
i tried to be nice initially and all but then she kept annoying me so i decided that being nice sometimes does not work. so bitch mode activated. it was a bloody torture. she took more than an hour to just complete underarms and full arms! i have completed a whole lot more in aussie in less than an hour! i think the thing about the waxing places here is that they are so uneducated about the effects of their shit hair removal methods. i mean seriously! my waxer(again, i am not sure what they are called) in aussie lectures me on how it is essential to go to a good qualified person to get waxed and i totally agree. i have tried the cheap shit ass places and the result is way different to the slighty pricier ones. and therefore i expected quality from these sylvia thingy. urgh! i was so pissed off. walking home, i did not know whether to cry or scream! but it seriosuly spoilt my whole day. as i lay there, all i could think about was my melbourne waxer. i miss her. she was such a doll. she made waxing so much fun. took my attention away from the pain. she rocks! so, did i mention that i miss melbourne? a ton lot! i definately took it for granted.
