i looked at my ticker and it says two days. two days? when did that happen? sometimes, when people bid their farewells, it seems rather weird because somehow it has not totally sunk in yet. i am slowly but surely beginning to realise that i do not have much longer in sunny singapore. i was looking at pictures of when my vacation begun, in july, and time really does fly when you are having fun. but we never realise things that we take for granted until we loose them. here, i am referring to beloved melbourne. i never really appreciated the beauty of melbourne untill i watched the movie today, salam namaaste. i mean watching the flames in the background and what not, i am sure many would be wishing that they were there. it looks amazingly beautiful. and to think that i have seen it all. upclose and personal. for real. yet, everytime it is time for the 'fire show' at crown casino, we carry on with our dinner or coffee or whateva, not pausing to take in the splendid eye candy before us. i miss melbourne. and just one semester in melbourne next year is not going to be enough. but then again, we always want more.
