.forever young. 
headed to manchester for suj's pre 21st bday(heehee-she will be in sg on her bday...bless). copacabana had a real nice salsa feel to it. it was good fun... eating yums, being merry and good company. it is amazing how time flies and at random moments, you step back for a few seconds and take in everything that has changed over the years. it has been great. like i got to know suj in jc. which was like in 2001. i have no idea how 4 years whizzed by just like that. and with sumi, i knew her like in crescent... somewhere around 1999. whoaaa it has been some time boy. and to think that suj, sumi and me were all from the same primary school...(but never knew each other. eventhough me and sumi were in the same class for 2 years!) it is funny how life works out sometimes. don't ya think? like somehow we get a second chance to get to know people we missed out before. anyway, manchester is what some refer to as like lil' london. (i beg to differ but oh well) but manchester is really nice. i mean it is way different from nottingham, or so i think so. it has more of a bustling city feel to it and everything is busy and on the go baby. and it is cold.. well yeah it is generally getting colder... brrrrrrr.....
christmas season. pretty purple christmas. it is great! christmas spirit is in the air! christmas tunes play throughout the city...in shopping centres, random buskers, people walking about with a bazillion shopping bags, every shop becomes christmas themed and everyone is happy. it is like a scene out of a movie. it is like everyone is vibrating at a real high frequency(ref:summer from oc.haha.) which takes u along for the ride to a happy place...where everything is rosy. which can be bad at times because it puts you in the mood for some serious shopping. hahaha. and and and let's not forget the xmas markets! i thought the one in nottingham was nice... but manchester, in all it's glory, has three xmas markets. it was great... random knick knacks from all over uk-paintings, knitted scarves, gloves, snowcaps, jewellry, funky stuff made out of driftwood, just a whole load of random things! and then there was the edibles..... chocolates galore, cheese, sausages, chocolates, fudge! it was heaven!
ohhhh santa and his lil' reindeer. ain't that sweet... and there was a whole section for christmas trees! like u know the episode of the O.C where summer saves chrismukkah and goes tree shopping with cohen. yeah! it was just like that! people walking away with their very own net- wrapped christmas trees. 
moo moo clogs from holland! bratwurst-germany... looked real yummy... too bad for me... i do like the set up though... and then came the choccies from belgium.... sumi and me took ages to decide what goes into our wicked box of sin... praline, dark, milk, white.... made me very very happy indeed....heehee....
and then there was fudge. sweet heaven sent fudge. let me introduce you to sinfully rich vanilla fudge and the brilliant missisippi mud slide. oh and ermm we also added more chocs... the truffle (which is half gone because i could not resist. it is yummy beyond imagination) and the hazelnut swirl (or was it twirl? hmm. well whateva! doesn't matter does it? as long as it is yummy!)
